Grounded in a longstanding commitment to child advocacy, Margaret Riley Schweizer brings a unique combination of legal expertise, organizational strategy, and systems-level impact to her work. She combines direct representation of children and families with strategic support for the organizations and systems that serve them. She creates trauma-informed, equitable, and collaborative strategies that enhance the work of Georgia’s systems and organizations, building their capacity and developing sustainable solutions that improve outcomes for children and families statewide. In addition, she trains attorneys, court personnel, and nonprofit partners to strengthen their ability to serve youth effectively. She also brings this commitment to her role as a Judge Pro Tempore in Fulton County Juvenile Court. Active in community leadership, Schweizer serves on multiple boards and task forces and has been recognized with state and national awards for her service.
