Amrit Kapai has been a practicing attorney for nearly a decade. Professionally, he has served as a judicial intern in two federal court systems, worked at a global law firm, and is currently practicing at a sophisticated boutique law firm, Goldstein & McClintock LLLP, specializing in corporate bankruptcy and litigation. Most recently, he found another meaningful calling: serving as a voice for the South Asian LGBTQ community through his role on Bravo TV’s Family Karma. For Amrit, Family Karma embodies his opportunity to shine a spotlight on the challenges and distinct issues that LGBTQ South Asians face. His unique role as a gay cast member highlights his own struggles and the example he is striving to set, all the while promoting the central message to live our most authentic lives. He credits his professional and personal achievements to the invaluable experiences and wisdom he gained at Emory.
