Assistant Professor of Internal Medicine | Emory University Department of Medicine | Atlanta, GA

Francois Rollin is passionate about addressing health inequity and is inspired by students and co-workers every day at Grady Hospital. Rollin received a dual MD and MPH in 2009 from Emory University School of Medicine and the Rollins School of Public Health. While a student, he met lifelong friends and his partner Jessica, and he also learned to throw a Frisbee. He stayed on to train in internal medicine at Emory University and was one of the Grady Hospital Chief Residents in 2012. After training, he spent three years working on Native American land in Zuni, New Mexico, as part of the Indian Health Service. The pull of Emory was too strong, and he returned to be a faculty member of the Emory University Department of Internal Medicine at Grady Hospital. Rollin is passionate about medical education and improving health equity. Rollin has three young, vibrant children and he wants to learn more about birds.
