Each of our donors and their support helps move Emory beyond student success to student flourishing; entice high-achieving faculty members to choose Emory as their intellectual home; and result in research breakthroughs that transform entire fields.
In recognition of the support we receive from our donors, Emory established two giving societies: The Wise Heart Society and the Judson C. Ward Consecutive Giving Society.
Judson C. Ward Consecutive Giving Society
Judson C. Ward 33C 36G spent more than 80 years in the Emory community as a student, teacher, dean, donor, and friend. Along the way, he achieved 42 years of consecutive annual giving to the community he loved. To honor his generosity, we recognize those who support Emory through their own consecutive annual gifts.
Wise Heart Society
Emory's motto—the wise heart seeks knowledge—succinctly captures both the Emory ethos and the Wise Heart Society’s purpose, which is to celebrate leadership-level gifts that improve the lives of others.
Celebrating Emory's most loyal donors
In May 2022, we gathered again in person against the backdrop of the Atlanta skyline to honor members of our giving societies and all they do to support Emory students, faculty, and researchers.
