Kathryn Mishkin 16PH


Director, Evaluation | March of Dimes | Washington, D.C.

Kathryn Mishkin has more than a decade of public health and international development research, management, evaluation, and policy experience in 14 countries. A Fulbright alumna and returned Peace Corps volunteer, she is passionate about maternal and child health. She currently serves as the director of evaluation at March of Dimes, where she leads the national evaluation and quality improvement efforts to optimize impact. Within the American Public Health Association, she holds leadership roles including as chair of the Global Maternal and Child Health Network. She serves on national and local boards of directors for multiple organizations and on the Harvard Public Health Review Editorial Board. She is an author of peer-reviewed manuscripts, American Public Health Association policy statements, and national and state reports. In addition to an MPH in global health from Emory, she holds a master’s in sustainable international development from Brandeis University and a doctorate in health policy, management, and behavior from the University of Albany School of Public Health. She completed her undergraduate degree at Smith College.
