Rachel Jiang is a junior majoring in philosophy, politics, and law. She plans to pursue a juris doctorate and a career in public interest law. As an editorial assistant for Emory Professor Noëlle McAfee, she reviews feminist entries for the Stanford Encyclopedia of Philosophy. Through Emory’s Scholarly Inquiry and Research Experience program, she supported research on indigent criminal defense and completed her own project studying how masculinity shapes judicial decision-making.

As service coordinator for Uplifting Marginalized Mothers and Individuals, she helps organize legal workshops for women leaving incarceration and postpartum support for refugee mothers. She is vice president and treasurer of Emory’s Ballroom Dance Club and competes nationally, including placing at the 2025 U.S. National Ballroom Championships. She also serves as vice president of Kappa Alpha Pi and is a member of Emory Women in Law.
