The onslaught of information on the prevention, treatment, and management of COVID-19 underscores the importance of producing trustworthy guidelines for the public in times of crisis. Rebecca Morgan strives to critically evaluate and translate the evidence into clear and actionable guidance for practitioners, patients, and the public, while teaching others to do the same. After eight years at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, Morgan completed her PhD in Health Research Methods at McMaster University in Hamilton, Ontario, and co-established Evidence Foundation, a non-for-profit that leads and supports organizations making decisions about health. Her career in this niche field has allowed her to continuously learn, teach, travel, and contribute to practice-changing documents. In addition to her role as executive director for Evidence Foundation, Morgan is a faculty member at McMaster University and Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, Ohio.
