Oxford Farm offers up fresh food, field experience
See vibrant red stems of Swiss chard and lush green rows of lettuce as Daniel Parson, farmer and educator, showcases the Oxford College Organic Farm. This 11-acre farm features orchards, a large greenhouse, and diverse perennials. Parson manages the farm, which supplies food for CSA subscription boxes, university dining halls, and farmer's markets, while also offering hands-on experiences for students.
Join Josh Newton as he chats with Parson about choosing which vegetables to grow, favorite picks in CSA subscription boxes, and how one alumnus played a pivotal role in the creation of the farm.
