Plugging Emory into Capitol Hill

For Cameron Taylor 90C, Emory has been part of her life since her student days. Currently, she leads Emory’s Office of Government and Community Affairs, a role she’s held for eight of the 20 years she’s worked for the university. During her time as a sociology student, she met her husband, Gordon. Now, the two are parents of an Emory junior, and they are central to Emory’s movement to rethink the future: She and Gordon are Washington, D.C., volunteer leaders of the 2O36 campaign.

Join Josh Newton as he walks and talks with Taylor in Washington. Learn how much of an economic engine Emory is for the state and why securing a seat at the federal table is key to innovation. Plus, discover how seeing Emory through her daughter’s eyes helped deepen her love for a place she’s cherished for decades.
