Angela McNeight 08C

Owner and Orthodontist | Caudill & McNeight Orthodontics | Melbourne, FL

After graduating from Emory, Angela McNeight went on to graduate cum laude from the University of Florida College of Dentistry and complete a three-year orthodontic residency program. She returned to her hometown of Melbourne, Florida, and partnered with Dr. Ryan Caudill to create Caudill & McNeight Orthodontics. McNeight is passionate about improving the oral health of her community. She chairs the Florida Dental Association Leadership Development Committee and is a delegate to the Southern Association of Orthodontists. She created Give Kids A Smile, an annual event that has provided free dental care to more than 350 children from low-income families. When community water fluoridation was removed from the water supply in Mims, Florida, she formed a task force of health professionals to advocate for local residents.

“Emory provided me the building blocks on which to build the foundation of my career. I truly felt I was well prepared for the rigorous coursework of dental school thanks to my basic and life science background. Emory also provided me the opportunity to learn about diverse cultures and backgrounds—experiences that have shaped the way I practice and interact with patients. I served as the president of my sorority, Kappa Kappa Gamma, while at Emory and subsequently worked with them as a traveling leadership consultant in the year after graduation. These opportunities helped teach me that each patient is an individual with different needs, desires, and upbringings, and getting to know them as a person helps me provide the highest level of personalized treatment possible.”
