Meet Brittany Albright, a board-certified adult and addiction psychiatrist and the founder of Sweetgrass Psychiatry in Charleston, South Carolina. As the largest physician-owned psychiatry practice in South Carolina, Sweetgrass Psychiatry is a testament to Albright’s dedication and vision. After earning her undergraduate degree from Emory’s Oxford College, she pursued medical and public health degrees at the University of New Mexico, graduating in the top 25 percent of her class and joining the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society.

Albright completed the Harvard Medical School Adult Psychiatry Residency Training Program at Massachusetts General Hospital and McLean Hospital, followed by an addiction psychiatry fellowship at the Medical University of South Carolina. She is passionate about her work, finding fulfillment in the transformative impact psychiatry has on individuals, families, and communities.
