Chelsea A. Jackson is a political scientist, author, and social justice consultant dedicated to dismantling systemic oppression and fostering racial equity. As the founder of Equity Architects and co-host of the Post-Woke Podcast, Jackson uses her platform to address issues of social justice and abolitionist reform. Her book, Brick by Brick: How We Build a World Without Prisons, co-authored with the Cradle Community collective, reflects her commitment to abolitionist principles. A Rhodes and Truman Scholar, Jackson holds three master’s degrees from Emory and the University of Oxford in Oxford, England, specializing in criminology, Public policy, political science, and African American studies.
Jackson’s expertise has been recognized in both academic and professional spheres, with her research on racial and ethnic politics presented at major conferences such as the American Political Science Association. Previously, she managed a $30 million Racial Equity Program at London-based communications and public relations firm WPP, where she advanced equity initiatives worldwide, including projects with the UK’s Black Equity Organisation and the Detroit Experience Studio. Driven by optimism for an inclusive future, Jackson’s work spans over a decade of advocating for social justice and empowering marginalized communities globally.
