Meet Christine Andrews, the controller at Mercury Technologies, Inc., a financial tech company providing banking services and financial workflows to more than 200,000 companies. Andrews oversees all aspects of financial reporting and leverages technology to enhance efficiency. She plays a strategic role in aligning product design with real-world financial needs, helping shape Mercury’s intuitive platform.
Andrews earned her accounting degree from Emory’s Goizueta Business School and became a CPA in 2012. She began her career as an auditor at PwC, working with clients across various industries. In 2018, she joined Alarm.com, a public tech company, and was promoted to assistant controller. Driven by a passion for applying best practices to startups, Andrews joined Mercury in 2022. She finds fulfillment in collaborating with product teams to build features that make a real difference for Mercury’s customers. Her leadership has been recognized with honors such as 2023 Controller of the Year for Startups by the Controller’s Council and a Rising Star by the Northern Virginia Technology Council in 2024.
When she’s not working, Andrews loves to travel, especially if scuba diving or delicious food and wine are involved. She enjoys experiencing new cultures, which provides a great escape and sparks inspiration. Andrews is also close with her family, sharing the Emory experience with her father and sister.
