Gabriel Moran 18Ox 20C is driven by curiosity and a belief in the power of connection. His experience at Oxford College shaped his approach to leadership and service, teaching him to take initiative and create opportunities for himself and others. Moran graduated summa cum laude in political science through the honors program, completing a thesis on global political economy. While at Emory, Moran also worked with the Carter Center and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, experiences that shaped his education and, later, his career.
Today Moran is a senior government affairs and policy manager at Tarana Wireless, a broadband technology company working to close the digital divide. He serves on the Board of Expert Advisors for the California Emerging Technology Fund and as California state coordinator for the Wireless Internet Service Providers Association, supporting small and mid-sized internet service providers. His work focuses on digital equity, global broadband policy, and helping communities gain access to high-quality internet.
