Senior Corporate Counsel
Credigy Solutions Inc.
Atlanta, Georgia

Meet Hillary Gardner, senior corporate counsel at Credigy Solutions Inc., a specialty finance firm in Atlanta. Gardner’s career journey began in litigation in New York City, followed by a role as assistant attorney general to the Republic of Palau, an archipelago of more than 500 islands in the western Pacific Ocean. Returning to Atlanta, she took on an in-house counsel role at a toy company before joining Credigy Solutions.

Gardner values the education Emory provided for service in both the public and private sectors. A pivotal summer internship at Seedco, a nonprofit providing microloans to small businesses, developed her finance acumen and underscored the importance of board service. Inspired by her aunt’s battle with ALS, Gardner actively supports the ALS community. She serves on the board of ALS United of Georgia and organizes an annual community picnic to fund a caregiver respite program.

When she’s not working, Gardner enjoys organizing a book club, playing on a neighborhood tennis team, and spending time with her three daughters. She finds fulfillment in seeing the daily impact she can make at Credigy and enjoys a dynamic approach to practicing law. Her work for the ALS community is also deeply rewarding.

Emory played a significant role in Gardner’s success, providing her with essential skills and connections that have shaped her career. She cherishes the relationships with fellow Emory alumni, especially her husband, Brian Spielman 09L, and is always glad to help others.
