For Mary Alexander Myers, Emory was the place where her love for learning truly blossomed. As an Emory Scholar, she pursued her studies in history and immersed herself in campus life. Myers often encourages students to make the most of the supportive environment and diverse experiences available within the campus community.
Myers went on to attend Vanderbilt Law School and subsequently returned to Atlanta to embark on a legal career at Jones Day. In her professional journey, she has pioneered an innovative transactional practice that offers strategic guidance on matters related to technology, privacy, and cybersecurity. Myers specializes in transactions driven by data or technology, often involving groundbreaking legal and commercial complexities.
Beyond her professional pursuits, Myers dedicates her time and expertise to the Atlanta community. She is actively involved in pro bono legal work and serves on the board of the Truancy Intervention Project, an organization providing legal services to children in public schools.
