Quincy Technologies
New York, New York

Meet Ryan Mitchell Greene, an advocate for digital health equity and founder of Go Go Quincy, an on-demand tech support service tailored to non-techies. Greene is on a mission to help older adults unlock the best from technology, including telehealth, eCommerce, and on-demand transportation. His company has been spotlighted in leading trade publications, as well as the Atlanta Journal-Constitution, Engadget, and Yahoo Finance. Greene has also been a frequent guest on television networks FOX, NBC, and ABC to discuss aging in America, digital security, and the Silver Tsunami, a metaphor for the aging population, particularly Baby Boomers.

Greene studied economics and psychology at Emory, motivated by a desire to understand the emotional aspect of markets. He started his career in investment banking but fell in love with the early-stage tech world and never looked back. He credits his Emory education for giving him a lens through which he could view the relationship between strategic thinking and empathy, a key ingredient to Quincy’s success. Under his leadership, Quincy serves thousands of families across 38 states.

When he’s not working, Greene focuses on family, sailing, yoga, and golf. He also dedicates time to a nonprofit organization. Greene finds fulfillment in helping non-digital natives access a world of new opportunities through technology. He says he is always touched when he hears that Quincy’s software has helped someone online, as with making and attending a telehealth appointment.

He attributes much of his career outcomes to the lessons learned in four key Emory classes: Drugs & Behavior, Behavior Modification, Psychology 110, and Primate Social Psychology. These courses taught him the importance of storytelling, behavior modification, and understanding social dynamics, all of which have been crucial in his entrepreneurial journey.
