Torrey Young’s journey began at Emory, where she obtained a bachelor's in neuroscience and behavioral biology with a minor in religion. While it might seem like an unconventional path to law, Young credits her scientific background as instrumental in developing her ability to navigate across disciplines and handle complex technical readings.

Furthering her education, she earned a master’s degree in public health from Johns Hopkins in 2011. Young began her legal career in Boston, initially working at an international law firm specializing in health care and government enforcement defense investigations. She later transitioned to Mukasey Frenchman, a New York-based trial boutique, where she now serves as a partner.

While her primary expertise lies in defending cases within the realms of health care and life sciences, Young has showcased her adaptability in high-profile financial and public corruption cases.
