Mauricio Sepúlveda 13MBA

Arkham
Emerging
Co-Founder & CEO, Arkham

Mauricio Sepúlveda was born in Colombia, grew up in Venezuela, and, for the past 12 years, has made his home in the United States. He credits his ability to thrive here—and receive this award—to the opportunity Emory and the Goizueta family provided in 2011, allowing him to pursue an MBA with a full scholarship. Years after earning an Emory MBA, he expanded PayPal's operations across Latin America, an experience that defined his calling—building exceptional teams and delivering value to businesses through technology products. In 2018, Mauricio launched his first startup, which was later acquired by Konfio, a Latin American fintech unicorn. Serving as Konfio’s chief technology officer and chief product officer taught him about the transformative potential of artificial intelligence, leading to the inception of his new venture, Arkham. Mauricio currently lives in Miami with his wife, Naty, and their three amazing children.
