Martin Bunt 14L is an associate in King & Spalding’s Washington, D.C., office and a member of the firm’s Special Matters and Government Investigations practice. His career reflects commitment to service, leadership, and the rule of law.
A native of Pensacola, Florida, Bunt attended Samford University, where he played collegiate golf before coming to Emory Law to pursue national security law. At Emory, he externed with the Navy Judge Advocate General’s Corps (JAG), competed in the Clara Barton International Humanitarian Law Competition with Emory’s IHL Clinic, and cofounded the Emory Law Volunteer Clinic for Veterans.
After graduation, Bunt joined the Navy JAG Corps, spending nearly nine years on active duty. His service took him around the world, where he advised on complex legal issues and upheld military justice in challenging environments.
At King & Spalding, Bunt draws on that experience to guide clients through sensitive investigations and regulatory matters. He lives in Alexandria, Virginia, with his wife and two children.
