Maria C. White 19G is a postdoctoral fellow at the Lineberger Comprehensive Cancer Center at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where she focuses on developing new treatments for non-Hodgkin lymphoma. A graduate of Emory’s Laney Graduate School with a PhD in immunology and molecular pathogenesis, she was named Program Scholar of the Year in 2019.
White has earned numerous fellowships, including from the American Cancer Society, the Lymphoma Research Foundation, and the American Association of University Women.
Beyond her research, she serves on the board of the Emory Triangle Alumni Network, helping organize family-friendly events for alumni in Chapel Hill, Raleigh, and Durham. Her work blends scientific excellence, mentorship, and community engagement, reflecting a commitment to advancing both research and people.
