Campus Perks
Being an Emory alum gives you access to several on-campus facilities and resources. Please refer to the university's visitor policy to confirm the current availability of on-campus benefits listed below.
Your Alumni Card
An alumni card and picture identification will serve as your ID for gaining access to the library and other alumni benefits, as allowed by the Emory University visitor policy.
If you would like to use your card for access to campus libraries, please visit the EmoryCard website for details on how to activate the card. Please check the visitor and re-opening policies for the libraries and recreational facilities prior to visiting campus.
For security purposes, no facility building access is allowed to be placed on an alumni card. Only official Emory ID cards are to be used for university physical access. Should an alumnus/a become an active student, employee, or sponsored affiliate of Emory University, the alumni card will be deactivated and an official Emory ID card will be issued based on the individual’s primary affiliation. At that time, the alumni card should be retained by the individual, but the official Emory ID card becomes the primary card.
Library Access
While Emory alumni have privileges at most campus libraries, all online databases are not available to alumni due to licensing requirements. The alumni association offers access to premium information resources online through the online community.
Visit Stuart A. Rose Manuscript, Archives, & Rare Book Library, Robert W. Woodruff Library, Pitts Theology Library, and Woodruff Health Sciences Center Library. Bring picture identification with your alumni card.
