Commencement 2024 celebrated Emory graduates
Commencement Weekend, May 10–13, recognized the tremendous achievements of the Class of 2024. On Monday, May 13, speakers at the 179th Commencement ceremony highlighted the unique challenges faced by this undergraduate class, who graduated high school amid the COVID-19 pandemic. Keynote speaker Dr. Valerie Montgomery Rice, physician-scientist and health equity advocate, encouraged graduating seniors to learn, include, grow, and make an impact.
