Episode 1 Maya Wright 23C
Wright is a special projects intern at the King Center in Atlanta. After a gap year, she hopes to obtain an MPH in Health Policy and Administration—to pair her love for language with health care.
Episode 2 Andrew Fried 98C
Fried is CEO of Boardwalk Pictures and an Emmy and Peabody Award winning producer with many credits including “Chef’s Table,” “Welcome to Wrexham,” “Last Chance U,” and more.
Episode 3 Tom Zhang 17C
Zhang (they/them) is an actor, teacher, and theater-maker who creates performances that use humor to explore race and identity in the United States. They are the 2023–2024 artist-in-residence at Duke University’s Department of Theater.
Episode 4 Darby Jardeleza 17C
Jardeleza is a firefighter and emergency medical technician for the City of Beaufort/Town of Port Royal Fire Department. Before becoming a firefighter, she worked as an editor for Forbes Travel Guide, and she still edits part-time.
Episode 5 Kimberly Williams 09EvMBA
Williams, an Emory 40 under Forty recipient, is a serial entrepreneur with 15 years of Fortune 100 Corporate experience. She left the corporate world in 2018 and jumped into entrepreneurship. Her focus is to challenge the status quo while bringing a unique perspective to business.
Episode 6 Miriam Udel
Miriam Udel is an associate professor of German studies and the Judith London Evans Director of the Tam Institute of Jewish Studies at Emory University, where her teaching focuses on Yiddish language, literature, and culture.
Episode 7 Masud Olufani
Olufani is an Atlanta-based actor, mixed media artist, and writer. He is a graduate of Morehouse College and the Savannah College of Art and Design. Olufani was the 2021–2022 inaugural Visual Arts Fellow at Emory University.
Episode 8 Ladi Fatade 09C
Ladi is a writer and entrepreneur who currently works on the concept and design studio team at HBO/Max. He thrives on solving complex problems with creative solutions.
