Sanjana Chhantyal is a relationship manager at Avasar Equity Limited, an organization that aims to support innovation and entrepreneurship in Nepal. Her role is highly analytical and people-facing. She conducts financial analysis of investment proposals and has represented the organization in external events including a panel discussion on Nepal’s private equity and venture capital industry.

Chhantyal was selected by UN Women Asia and the Pacific as a 30 for 2030 Youth Leader. She co-founded the Stree-Shakti Project, which was awarded the Alumni Engagement Innovation Fund award supported by the US Department of State. The project aims to encourage and prepare young women to take on leadership roles in Nepal's energy sector. She was a finalist among participants from Nepal and Bhutan in the Entrepreneurship World Cup Competition 2021. She currently volunteers as a pro bono consultant for start-ups and has worked with an international start-up that supports the circular economy. She also founded Next Steps Project, which aims to help aspiring students make informed academic decisions.
