Hi, my name is Susan Salgado, and I am a junior concentrating in Finance. I am also enrolled in the MPA program at Goizueta Business School. This past summer, I interned at Coatue Management in their finance and accounting department. After college, I look forward to returning to New York to pursue a career in accounting or investment banking.
On campus, I serve as the president and founder of Be First, the first-generation business school club, and as the director of internal partnerships at Graduation Generation. Additionally, I am a residential advisor at Raoul Hall and a building manager at the Emory Student Center.
Beyond business, I am passionate about advocating for higher education. I work closely with Graduation Generation as a mentor for high school students, helping to promote academic persistence. Through my club, Be First, I support the first-generation community at Goizueta by organizing events that provide students with the resources they need to succeed.
Overall, I take pride in the positive impact I have on the communities around me, and I am deeply grateful to be a recipient of the Emory Alumni Leadership Scholarship.
