When Doug Shipman 95C campaigned for president of Atlanta City Council in 2021, he ignored the naysayers who told him, “Have fund, but don’t expect a win.” He took to the streets of Atlanta, knocking on 5,000 doors to talk with constituents about family, community, and education. Shipman won the election and now works to better the day-to-day experience of Atlantans.
