Step into the Rose Library archives
Jennifer King pulls a large green rucksack from an acid-free box in the Stuart A. Rose Manuscript, Archives, and Rare Book Library. The bag, which belonged to Beat Generation writer Jack Kerouac, is just one remarkable item from the library’s vast collections. With four miles’ worth of material—2,000 collections—the Rose Library has become globally significant.
Take a stroll through this beautiful library with Josh Newton as he talks with King, its director, about why community is essential. Plus, get a sneak peek into the world’s largest Bram Stoker collection, along with some of the other exciting archival material the library has to offer.
